At the Hoburne Naish Holiday Park in New Milton, Hampshire, which is part of the Hoburne Group, police managed to thwart thieves who were attempting to break into holiday homes. The thieves were caught after a response from park security; alerted by the Ramtech alarm system.
The protectors are battery operated with a ‘retail style' loop sensor cable and sensor which is fitted to the product that links back to the Ramtech monitoring systems using radio communication. The alarm is activated when the device is tampered with or the sensor is removed from the product.
Roger Seeney, Head of Group Operations at Hoburne, said: "We are very pleased with the Ramtech monitoring system installed at Hoburne Naish. It has proved its worth and on this occasion I am sure that if it wasn't for their system, we probably wouldn't have apprehended these would be thieves."
Andy Hicks, Managing Director of Ramtech, said: "We enjoy many long term relationships with customers who have entrusted the security of their sites to us for many years by using our monitoring systems. This is another example of how our systems are helping to provide the very best protection for park operators and the homes on their sites, particularly at a time when domestic burglaries are on the rise."
