Ramtech Electronics, the leading supplier of wireless alarm systems for holiday parks, has recently created a new post as part of its commitment to help new and existing customers benefit from new technology.Recently, a new business - Park WiFi - has been launched to provide WiFi internet access to Parks which will allow holiday home owners and Park visitors to email, chat, browse the web and access audio and video through the internet, just as they can at home.
Leading this expansion into the provision of the latest wireless technology is Ramtech's new Product Manager - IP Networks, Darrel Rhodes. Darrel has worked in wireless communications for more than 8 years.
"Wireless technology offers tremendous opportunities at the moment for holiday parks," explained Darrel. Our aim is to work with the Parks to maximise this opportunity in terms of both additional revenue streams and enhanced park services. For the majority of park owners WiFi is a new technology and we believe that there is value in taking our established partnership type approach through to the WiFi market. As we visit Parks around the country we find that more and more holiday home owners and park visitors are asking about WiFi. Before long it is likely that the provision of internet access will be expected at parks and we believe that this is an opportunity that is simply too good to be missed.
